Ms. Tara Norman

Tara Norman, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, holds 2 Master's Degrees. She earned a Master's in Social Work from Catholic University, and a Master’s in Special Education/Learning Disabilities from American University. Tara completed her internship and worked at the Ivymount School in Potomac, Maryland.

Tara served as the Independent Living Coordinator for Child Welfare Services in Montgomery County, Maryland. There she specialized in transition services for teens and young adults leaving foster care.

Tara has 10 years experience in private practice as an Academic Therapist, tutoring students with a variety of needs. As an academic therapist, Tara has created customized learning materials to suit the individual needs of her clients. She has also attended IEP and other academic planning meetings for her students.

Tara joined the Weinfeld Education group in November of 2007 and continues to utilize her experience and expertise to serve clientele in support-related matters, including helping parents to effectively work with their children’s schools.
