Biography:
Lois recently retired as supervisor and Principal of Special Education for the Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Southern Westchester in White Plains, New York. She was responsible for creating the first program for twice-exceptional students more than 20 years ago. She is one of the original co-founders of the Association for the Education of Gifted Underachieving Students (AEGUS) and continues to act as president for that organization. As a national consultant for twice exceptional, Lois has worked the Colorado Department of Education over the last three years to help develop a level two twice-exceptional training that is aligned with the state RtI initiative.
