Special Education Advocacy Services

• Determine the strengths and needs of the student through a variety of measures including interviews, observations, and a review of all prior assessments.

• Recommend any necessary assessments
• Represent parents at school meetings
• Explore appropriate school services and programs
• Assist in the school application process
• Develop and review all aspects of specialized plans, such as IEP's and 504 plans
• Link parents with a variety of community resources and supports, including tutors, therapists, assessors, assistive technology, and talent development opportunities

The Weinfeld Education Group (WEG) are experts who review each case and create a unique action plan based on all existing records, observation of the student, and input from the parents and school stafff. WEG consultants will represent parents at decision making meetings, collaborate with staff, and advocate on behalf of your child.
